We’ll use our milestones to manage our business better. Once a month, when we meet with our team to review our business strategy and business numbers, we’ll review our milestones to make sure our plans are on track. If there are problems or changes, this is when we can make course corrections.

Reviewing our milestones monthly gives us more opportunities to spot problems and identify opportunities. If we only check in on our progress once a quarter, or potentially just once a year, we have fewer opportunities to adjust course and change direction. In virtually every business, there’s always new information to review and changes in what our customers want and need. A frequent review of our goals allows us to be nimble and adjust quickly when we need to.

As Bring2Mind Consulting AB is a very small company with me as the only employee, everything will be on a smaller scale, nevertheless, aligning to methods and procedures allows me to establish structure in everything I do with the company and to use milestones as a measurement and method of inventory, for acquired knowledge and experiences, serves me well in explaining to new clients what my company can and cannot do.
